The Frenchside Africa Day Giveaway Terms & Conditions

  • By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. All entries must be received by midnight on (date). One (1) winner in South Africa will be selected at random by Frenchside on 27 May and the winner will be notified on or after this date.

  • Frenchside competitions with entry via Instagram, Facebook or Twitter are open only to residents of South Africa. One (1) winner will be chosen at random from all entrants and across all platforms.
  • No purchase is necessary. Winners will not be required to pay to enter the competition.
  • Entrants must be over 16 years old on the date of their entry.
  • Instagram, Facebook or Twitter are not in any way affiliated or involved in the competition.
  • Each entrant shall enter the competition via Instagram, Facebook or Twitter by participating in the African Day Posts.
  • An African Cooking book will be awarded to a randomly selected winner who has entered on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. The Promoter will not be held liable if the named prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled.
  • Frenchside will not be held liable for any failure of receipt of entries. Frenchside takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.
  • Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where the African cooking book become unavailable for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value.
  • The name, address, email address and phone number of the winner must be provided to Frenchside if requested and will be shared to enable the fulfilment of the prize.​
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond Frenchside’s reasonable control, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
  • Frenchside’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  • The winner’s name and social media username may be posted on the social media profiles of Frenchside after the winner has been selected.

  2. Posts will include questions you will need to answer in celebration of Africa Day.
  3. In order to win you will need to like, and comment the answer to the questions in the including the hashtags #FrenchsideAfricanSpirit 
  4. The more you engage the more chances you will have to win an African cooking book! 

Twitter

  1. From 23 May Frenchside will tweet along with the hashtag #FrenchsideAfricanSpirit  
  2. Tweets will include questions in celebration to Africa Day that need to be answered.
  3. In order to win you will need to like the tweet, comment or quote the tweet including the hashtag #FrenchsideAfricanSpirit
  4. The more you engage the more you are likely to win an African cooking book! 

Facebook
